My interests
Moving from the big city life of London to coastal Falmouth, its fair to say I have the best of both worlds. I love the busy life that London has to offer, including the eclectic mix of businesses, events, parks and people. I’m happiest in London when simply walking around the city with my camera or visiting new venues and exhibitions.
In contrast, I have truly embraced the Falmouth lifestyle. I enjoy swimming in the sea and have recently purchased a kayak, enabling me to explore the dynamic coastline. The quirky venues and charity shops truly give Falmouth it’s artistic character; reflected in the students at the University, where I have made valuable contacts in the creative world.
Throughout my childhood I have been lucky enough to travel with my parents to some beautiful countries. This has developed a burning desire to travel further in order to experience more cultures, and witness the beauty of other landscapes.
About me
I have always been surrounded by artists and the arts, beginning with my parents, both of whom are Jewelers by trade. From a young age they would always take me to the theatre, exhibitions, craft fairs and all sorts of other wonderful events. The feeling of joy that I get from these events is what has inspired me to do this degree, so that I may create the same feeling for others.
I’m an adventurous, enthusiastic individual with a great passion for exploring new ideas and discovering new places. In every project or event I am involved with, I endeavour to exceed expectations and work outside my comfort zone, in order to learn from my successes and failures.
I thrive most when working in a team based environment, being able to share innovative ideas and produce something amazing is a true passion of mine. I take pride in utilising my interpersonal skills to their full capabilities, enabling me to work with anyone of any age.
Over the course of living and working in Cornwall I have learnt a great deal from both the people and my degree. With 3 years in the events and hospitality sector I have built upon my industry knowledge and necessary key skills, which I deliver in a professional manner.
